This movement is so pure, as was the Trayvon Martin incident. I'm telling you brehs, cops killing black 12 year old for nothing. Coming off the Mike Brown grand jury decision, this feels like a real tipping point. Tamir was halfway through his 6th grade school year. NOTHING else matters. Ain't about criminal record or if he smoked weed. Cops really putting bullets in the stomach of pre-teenagers for not doing exactly as they say within the split second while staring down the barrel of a 9 mm.
Gotdamn, this touches me they wrong way. I have a very prominent job in The City and this makes feel like giving it all up for THE PRINCIPLE. Rather struggle with my own their flourish without them.

as a kid me and my dumb ass friends were on a one story roof with a bb rifle shooting storefront windows
next thing we know we look up at the roof of the building across the street and theres a fukking swat team with guns pointed at us
i had the gun in my hand at that point too
i dropped the gun and we all ran and went back to the block
went back to the roof that night to get the gun and the cops turned that shyt in to a pretzel lol

I think its time there was an IQ test minimum result to be a cop..some of these guys are clearly very dull and cant put two and two together. How does a grown man think a child in a playground is waving around a real gun? fukking stupid red necks..how are you a cop but lack perception and the only feeling you use on the job is 'fear'..these guys are scared lil pussies. A cop going into duty scared shytless is useless and a liability. The US armed forces would never let a soldier get away with the fear excuse.

I know plenty of kids who had BB guns rowing up. People talmbout the kid was wrong playing with a common toy at a REC CENTER with other kids. Next, a black kid is going to get shot for having a football in his hands because it's pointy end could harm an officer. And some Coli n#ggas are going to be saying "well, black kids shouldn't be playing football."

Of course I ain't gonna blast a 12 year old. But some of theses cops out for blood will. If the kid didn't even point the gun at the cop, then the cop should not have shot him.
And to answer your question. Yes, I have had real guns pointed at me, I've been shot at and I've been shot before.

There are a couple of issues that we really need to address.
1. I don't think anyone is blaming the child for playing with the bb gun, but you have to understand that these bb guns do look like real weapons, and if you're going to allow your child to play with one you really need to sit down with them and explain gun safety, not pointing it at people, playing with it in public and never pointing it or even showing it to a police officer.
2. We cannot continue to allow police officers who are not from the community to continue policing it. I may see a black (hell any minority) child as a person and a child. Why because I live in the community, I'm from the community, I work in the community and I work with youth from the community. I understand that living in the hood is a rough life and the odds are stacked against anyone living in poverty. Now an officer who has never lived around poverty, didn't come up around blacks and has never interacted with any minorities (besides c00ns) will look upon that same child as a criminal as a savage as less than human. So now you have officers who's only interaction with the citizens they are paid (very well, the avg Oakland officer makes well over 100k a year) is with the criminals (the druggies, the violent offenders, etc) so how can they serve and protect a community when they don't view them as humans as they have very little positive interactions to build that understanding.
And that is the biggest problem and why that child is more than likely dead, the officer didn't view him as a child all he saw was a black man with a gun and they are taught in the academy that they are the enemy and to use deadly force. I highly doubt an officer that was from the community or an officer of color would've shot the kid.
