Daily Operation and Hard To Earn were on the best 100 albums Source list in 98. That's good enough for me. :yeshrug:
Moment of Truth was an amazing album for both Primo and Guru (RIP :mjcry:). That one was deemed the shyt in 98 and still rings bells. :wow:
Easily a classic.
Step in the Arena isn't quite there quality wise. :yeshrug:
The other two aren't even contenders.
Living Proof is Primo's magnum opus :wow:
Guru is supremely underrated :francis:
fukk Solar :francis:

Premo has the ability to make below average MCs(Group Home, Big Shug) sound average and average MCs (Guru, Freddie Foxx, Afu-Ra) sound good. Jeru was already a good MC and the result was a classic album from front to back.

Imagine if we had got that Premo produced Nas album they promised us years back :mjcry:
he was amazing breh.

Daily Operation is a classic as well to me. It took many listens though.

The production holds up and Guru was lyrically focused. His second best performance on a Gang Starr album after Moment Of Truth.

lol yeah he was drunk af on HTE but it was refreshing for a change

I don't mean to re-inforce the stereotype but I do find him too monotonous and therefore a little uninteresting

like it's a different monotonous that can't grab my attention like a Nas/GZA can.

Hard to Earn and Moment of Truth for me.

Hard to Earn has one of the strongest finishes (2nd halves) of any hip hop I've ever heard.

Guru and all the guest artists lyrically torched that whole album. The production by Premo makes it a great late-night album.
