I lived out there when I was in college. I'm just walking home all by myself. This one kid runs up on me (literally running :russ:) and pulls his arm back like he's gonna swing on me, doesn't and ends up on the other side of me.

Man....Junior High, I had a potna who would throw that quitta, he used to do that shyt when we used to roll to Berkeley:snoop: I used to tell him I ain't tryna get shot, i'm just tryna copp some tapes:pachaha:

no surprise that The Sun Rises in the East is probably better than any Gang Starr album. Jeru was on another level. But honestly speaking, I don't think Premo was consistently great on Step in or Daily Operation, and even elements of Hard to Earn sounded rough. He was more of an individual beat maker but on albums I can only think of two that back to front really SLAP: The Sun Rises and Moment of Truth. And perhaps Return of the Boom Bap as well...that was fire.

My favorite Gang Starr album has always been Hard to Earn.

But I'd say the only album they dropped that wasn't classic, was The Ownerz. Everything else was.
