Well this thread is pretty much over anyway. Eminem is not gonna get a classic, so we might as well discuss other things.

MMLP is a shoe in IMO, it's not flawless, non-skip but it had it's moment...hell hist first 3 joints kinda had their moment, but MMLP was that peak popularity wise and creatively. I voted yes on TES but that's borderline, but again it was a spectacle and didn't show any drop off of momentum from MMLP while still managing to sound quite different. You ask most Eminem fans what's their favorite album and you may never get them to agree, shyt some people will swear by infinite, I think that's a good sign.

Personally, I wouldn't call it classic BUT Relapse should have at least been on this list. I'd actually say just off the production package and cohesion I will listen to that before I will TES. It actually could have been a classic with a few small, common sense tweaks, and is wild underrated IMO.

Mmlp and tes are his classics. Production wise and skill wise. Sslp sounds dated in many areas and some of those tracks are way too corny even for Eminem. Tes is borderline but I'll give it him cuz I'm feeling nice today. Rest of his catalogs including relapse

I used to think there was something clever about eminem, then he made a bunch of albums to try and replicate his older work and demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of what was good. Hence its clear to me, he fluked it. All he can do is rhyme words. Geto Boys put the South on the hip hop map. There are levels between them.
