Growing up, I never asked to order PPVs...this is pre-95. I would go rent tapes from all the old shows. This was my 'catching up' period since I had never seen the PPVs, we only caught Superstars here in Quebec on Saturday mornings.

Through 95 and 96, I was watching it scrambled - with occasional 'black box' night at my brother's in-laws' house.

97 - black box, my crib.

1998-2003 - DirecTV satellite dish - free PPVs, every month. :noah: that was amazing.

I stopped following in 2004, but I'd buy the occasional Wrestlemania. Came back in late '06 - early '07 when the Internets became my personal Chef and I been eating good ever since. :eat:

Catching everything live from Austin's KotR speech to nWo's formation...I was blessed.

Damn my wrestling following is like yours

First real episode I watched of Nitro was Scott Halls first appearance

Saw them all on Sky for free... I ate so well off of that rigged NTL system with the black box :pachaha:

I fell asleep just before WrestleMania 2000 though and slept right through the whole show, was almost in tears when I woke up like :damn:

Most of them, for a few years my parents had the illegal box so I could watch them. And then for a few years my brothers friend used to order them so I would go there and watch. But most of the attitude era was spent sitting in front of scrambled picture and listening to the audio lol.
rofl:sadbron:

The one that sticks out for me was the King of the ring 98. I was :sadbron: when the whole class was talking about mick falling off the cage. My pops was a closet fan though, so I got pretty much ordered all of the major ppvs and a occasional IYH/mid level show
