Just a few from way back because my parents wouldnt let us order them...

Royal Rumble '89- first ever rumble on ppv and i missed it :sadbron:
Summerslam '89- I wanted to see Zeus and Savage kill Hogan and Beefcake :sadbron:
Survivor Series '90- Taker's debut :sadbron:
This Tuesday in Texas '91- Jake/Savage :sadbron:

not sure if those would even be considered 'classic' ppv's but oh well.

We still ordered ppv's until '95, then, thanks to black boxes we never missed a show again. Damn, we ate good (and for free) from 95-04.

I saw most WCW/WWF PPVs from '95-early '99. I even saw a lot of the early '90s PPVs thanks to an old UHF TV we had in the house, just had to move the antennae around. Pay-per-view was so simple back then. :scheme:

Basically any 1990 show I was ":ohlawd: Mama, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasssssssse order this for me!" Not that it would've mattered. I had a bedtime. :wtb: I didn't see Hogan get his revenge on Earthquake, I didn't see the GOAT match concept Survivor Series, I didn't find out who the Black Scorpion was... :sadcam:

92 Wargames. I wanted to see Sting's team vs the Dangerous Alliance badly. I loved that feud. Oh well, I sat in front of the scrambled PPV channel and listen to the audio like I did with all of the PPVs.

I did this alot too durimg the Attitude Era.

I remember clearly my two friends watching Summerslam 1998 next oor on a blackbox while i stayed home listening to audio on a scrambled channel

:ahh: the good ol days

Growing up, I never asked to order PPVs...this is pre-95. I would go rent tapes from all the old shows. This was my 'catching up' period since I had never seen the PPVs, we only caught Superstars here in Quebec on Saturday mornings.

Through 95 and 96, I was watching it scrambled - with occasional 'black box' night at my brother's in-laws' house.

97 - black box, my crib.

1998-2003 - DirecTV satellite dish - free PPVs, every month. :noah: that was amazing.

I stopped following in 2004, but I'd buy the occasional Wrestlemania. Came back in late '06 - early '07 when the Internets became my personal Chef and I been eating good ever since. :eat:

Catching everything live from Austin's KotR speech to nWo's formation...I was blessed.

Every single one, we couldn't order PPVs until 2011.

In the Attitude Era we got them for free but with a 4-5 months delay

When i could get German channels back in the day. One of their main sports networks use to show delayed WCW/WWF PPV's maybe a month or 2 behind. But because SkyUK showed WWE PPV's for free, I only use to watch it for the WCW ppv's Didnt give fukk the commentary was in German.

My parents were too broke to let me order a ppv. I always had to wait until they had it at Rogers video on VHS... and I still had to beg for it

Grandma had the illegal cable joint when I was a young pup. I used to tape ppv's and used to let the homies hold the tape at 5 dollars a pop. shyt was all good until the it cut off during Wrestlemania XX during the John Cena vs. Big Show US title match. I was sick for three reasons: I couldn't be there live, I couldn't watch at home and now my monthly hustle was gone. Didn't fukk with ppv's til WM 25 on the stream game.....and it was worth it because HBK vs. Taker I was :wow:
