The lie being The Notorious BIG had something to do with him getting shot when him and Big had no beef at all prior to that, Big told him them nikkas might not be safe, and walked Pac’s illegal gun out of Quad studios in the middle of the entire NYPD.

These nikkas should be ashamed of themselves.

Pac started the wax beef with Big just to stack up so he could go to war with the nikkas that really tried to rob him.

Big was the epitome of a stand up nikka.

It does matter, it shouldn't have been that hostile in the first place.

Even if BIG was innocent, him being on a westcoast radio station spitting lyrics from long kiss goodnight, a song dissing Pac that he wrote AFTER Pac died .. was more than enough reason for everybody not to be so shocked when he got gunned up and clapped quick before he could leave LA

Why did Pac choose to believe a lie despite even his associates telling him he was wrong.

Beef between Pac and Big was money issues. Biggie owed Pac for a lot. It was personal between them and Biggie knew it. That's why he couldn't really say anything.
