The beautiful Gloria foster.
godspeed. One of the great character actors of my day. His role as romellos father in sugar hill was poetry. Outside of the music, and Morris day, I thought he outshone every body in purple rain in the small role he had. Link was an iconic role too. One of my favorite actors.
First movie I saw Gloria Foster in was as a minor role, playing the late, great Ivan Dixon's father's girlfriend, in Nothing But A Man with the late, great and talented natural beauty Abbey Lincoln. Most of the older posters here will remember Ivan Dixon as Sgt. Kinchloe in Hogan's Heroes. There are a lot of familiar faces in the movie if you ever get a chance to see it.
