This should have been an easy win in hindsight. Vogel screwed up rotations and that stretch with Kuzma should have been cut short
They were overly worried about a lob
I actually feel bad for Jokic the way he fought late only to lose it like that.
Lakers needed that wake up call, these Nuggets are a worthwhile team and they can't take anything for granted. Felt like 2011 Dallas for a while they way they were about to sneak in that Game 2 win after looking beat for the first 1.5 games.
But Denver getting almost double the free throws and 23 Laker turnovers and still not pulling out a W? That's a huge missed opportunity. The refs aren't gonna call shyt like that every game and the Lakers better not be that sloppy again.
