The part of Durham, NC that i went to
Philly felt weird when I first got there, could’ve been because i was drunk asf, but the moment the plane landed I felt like I had entered a twilight zone. The feeling never ended the entire 5 years I was there.
Twilight zone. :dead:

:lupe:

Was Philly that weird to you?

most US cities are trash as fukk is what I got from this thread
Except for NYC.

The rest of America fukking sucks. Im sorry.

One thing Ill say about this thread is as long as there's some black folks there Im good.

I hate going to these overwhelmingly and disproportionately white cities where theres next to no non-whites. shyt just makes me uncomfortable as hell I cant even try to pretend I enjoy that shyt...walking around and nobody looks like you people give you :mjpls: looks I wanna see my people when I visit a city yall...i cant vibe with them white folks like that anymore.

Just got back from Minneapolis. Went there for the Redskins vs Vikings game. That place is strange. All the apartments have the same type of box architecture, like Ikea. I stayed by the stadium, in a downtown area, and during the day it seems like there are almost no people walking the streets.

But all the black folks at met there that were from Minneapolis were off..

I asked these two black girls by the metro train were I can get some breakfast because it seem like no place around there was open before 10am.

They replied: "you trying to pay?"

me: What? :dahell:

Them: This place called Marrys feed homeless but some people pay too

me:why:
Yeah I have the exact same story. I went for a football game, stayed downtown, three blocks from the stadium.

the whites were weird there.
The Somalians were weird too
You could tell all the black folks stayed in one area.

To be fair Philly was a dark period in my life. I moved there a couple of weeks after my moms death. I was fukked up over it drinking a lot and taking Xanax. I kept feeling like I wasnt supposed to be in philly, the whole time I was there, I felt that way.

Like I never felt right there. I don’t think I was supposed to be in that city, it was a detour.

now I’m where I’m supposed to be.

Hartford is segregated. It is obviously trending more minorities. The cacs there are a blend of mass-holes, WASPs, and euro-trash.

Nobody wears deodorant in Vermont
So you're saying if some foreigner were to fly to the US and land in Vermont he'd get the impression that Americans dont wear deodorant?
Thought it was just "Europeans, Indians and Haitians":jbhmm:

Yep. They got a big ass stone gate to get into town and you have to be cleared by a resident before getting cleared by police to be able to enter.

I think they said the only exception is if you are attending the church inside, which is not too far from the entrance.

Just got back from a trip to New Orleans to say y'all nikkas is buggin.

Not creepy at all. In fact I'd call this city joyous. Bands poppin off in street corners and bars. A can of beer is 3 bucks a pop. Everyone too well fed and intoxicated to be pissed off.

New Orleans gets the escape from NY consideration from me.

Mind you I came for Halloween time and thought a city like this would be fitting for a holiday vacation. Saw all types of scary themed shyt. Kooks and crazies in masks. Even went to the Museum of Death. But N'awlins is the bomb for real.
