Simcity 5 was trash when it came out but with the offline mode and bigger map mods it's pretty good now...

Am...am I man enough to go back to the old school connecting water, power, and sewage pipe lines days

Well have to see what the price is but eventually I will cop it no matter what once it gets cheap enough
