Holy crap. RIP. I’m just now finding out. Legend. The number black cultural cornerstone films she was in, are countless. Black Hollywood GIANT. Cicely Tyson, Sydney Poitier, Dorothy Dandrige, Dianne Carroll, Harry Belafonte, James Earl Jones, these are the shoulders in which black actors and actresses have stood on. These were some of the first black multi layered characters that were allowed on film.

Don't think I'm familiar with her work but sounds like she was a legendary actress and person. May she rest in peace.
