everybody itt is ignoring that Chuck said in their primes...

like if you wanna go the route of "Chuck got KO'd by so-and-so and has no chin" then you'd have to compare that to the Tyson that quit against McBride and got KO'd by Williams.

They were both beasts in their prime no matter how hard people wanna flip the narrative

Chuck could be in his prime and have a training camp if he wants. Iron Mike is still knocking his ass out with the quickness.

The Mike that went the distance with Jose Ribalta, Mitch Green, James Tillis, James Smith, Tony Tucker?

The Mike that has zero wrestling/BJJ experience?

Do you honestly think Mike Tyson is going to need wrestling and BJJ in a street fight against Chuck Liddell? There’s only one way that ends and it’s with Chuck on his back.

I’m glad you mentioned Mitch Green. Ask him how seeing Mike in the streets goes.

Yes. Flat out I do. People can hyperbole all they want to with Mike, but acting like he kills Chuck (one of the most dominant men in the UFC's history during his reign) with one punch in the streets is asinine.

I'm glad you mentioned Mitch again because Mike beating him in a street fight isn't impressive. :mjlol:

Chuck Liddell's striking has always been trash (yes, even in his prime ). That goofy wide armed bullshyt stance he had was :mjlol:

He was dominant in his era because the guys he fought were over glorified tough man fighters who couldn't throw a punch. He couldn't either.. he was just better than them, That's why the majority of his wins were by KO.... that is until he came across someone who was better at what he did in Rampage..

Mike in his prime would have been too fast for Chuck

the fukk are you talking about:mjlol:

boxers stay getting there ass choked out. dont act like you didnt see randy couture vs james toney:umad:

Like when a long over the hill Ray Mercer got choked out by former UFC champ Tim Sylvia.....

I'm aware that many other things are going on in MMA and you can't be successful solely with boxing but I'm always :comeon: when UFC fans bring these examples of why boxing is ineffective there.

All the examples of pro boxers entering MMA fights are either journeymen barely anyone has heard of or if it's a well known name he's washed up and in his 40s (Toney, Mercer) and never had any serious intention to compete in MMA anyway just took them fights in their 40s out of desperation and being broke. :francis:

As long as UFC pays their fighters the way they do this won't change, a prime boxer has no real reason entering it.
But anyone wanna tell me the BJJ specialists and wrestlers would just rush in and wrap up a prime Iron Mike with a double leg TD... :camby:

James Toney took a dive, all he did was step back and throw an uppercut, he would'v KO'd Couture

Wrestling is overrated, and also Chuck Liddel can't do that single leg like Couture he not that good of a wrestler

Same why Masvidal drilled that flying knee, all a boxer has to do to beat an mma fighter is bring a wrestler into the gym and drill, stepping back with their lead leg, which is the leg that will dive for, your power hand becomes your lead hand because you switching to southpaw as you threw the uppercut, it will be a punch KO just because of the momentum switching

most mma fighters don't come from the streets and were bullied before they took martial arts as well as never been in street fights

I would take Maidana, Tony Harrison, guys like that in a street fight over any mma fighter because they actually had street fights lmao, masvidal didn't have street fights he had organized fights in kimbo backyard, street fighting is you are fighting for your life, literally in a life or death situation, its different
