3 New York rappers and a rapper that worked with Chuck's new York producers. Seems legit.

Jay is probably the most materialistic, empty message rapper of all time. Hilarious seeing him on chuck's list but no pac or krs.

Mel's most famous for a song he had 3 verses on and 2 of the verses were written for him.

Respectable list. Chuck is a legend. But real talk...given those names, I would say Chuck himself is more appropriate than Mel. But it is kind of douchey to add yourself so...:yeshrug:

List losses all credibility when you have a sell out biter like house nikka jigga on there.

who should replace jay

:camby:fukk Chuck d and fukk his shyt list

negged. chuck d disrespect isnt tolerated

dope list

but dudes are gonna be mad that he didn't give the force-fed four that people are brain-trained to list.

assuming that his list is strictly based upon solo rappers, I like it and understand every pick.

who told you that jay stole biggie's style??

these narratives are crazy.

what has Nas done to deserve a mt rushmore placement??

who are the force fed 4?

who wrote melles verses
Ed Fletcher. He wrote and produced the whole thing except for mel's last verse, which mel recycled from an older song. Nobody in the group wanted to do the song. Sylvia Robinson made them do it. Ed is the one actually rapping all the verses except for the parts assigned to mel but when you watch the video one you'd think a furious 5 member was rapping with mel.

That's probably the most famous rap song of all time and it was ghost written, produced, rapped and arranged by someone not named Grandmaster Flash or part of the furious 5.

its an opinion.stop being a lil bytch about it.:heh:

breh i love and live this culture. disrespect for chuck D is not something im taking lightly

hes more than a rapper but i digress becuz the youth is as disrespectful as ever.

what you should do is instead of showing love to coli posters who youll never meet (and some who are racist/trolls)

you should reciprocate love to the man who nurtured our culture and gave dignity to the voiceless

chuck D = malcolm X of rap
