I am aware of its success but doesn't mean the masses as a whole thought it was great. Obviously people on this board didn't think it was all that. I've seen more bad takes on it then good ones in this thread. So as far as the coli is concerned the movie is overrated. I doubt it will be hailed as one of the best movies of the decade or one of the better war movies of all time when it's all said and done.
If it's a commercial success, the that many people came and fukked with the movie. Simple and plain. You just dislike it. You are the minority. If most of the critics loved it, most of the people who went fukked with it then it is what it is. What you say does not matter. You can dislike it for what it is, but that's mostly you... not the general public sentiment.

I don't agree, Nolan practically prints money, most people went to see the movie because of him, doesn't mean they all and out the theater thinking it was a great movie, I know I didn't.

Nolan prints money mainly because the general belief is having a track record of making good to great films. And, that track record is backed with critical acclaim. Regardless of initial hype, it still was a commercial success. The general people aren't stating it sucked nor the critics. So like I said it is what it is. It's not a "THE LAST JEDI" situation where it made money because it's Star Wars but the vast majority made it KNOWN how much they hated the film. People fukked with it. The minority did not.

With the super high resolution and that surround sound made it an experience but I don’t wanna sit at home and watch it. I tried and was bored out my mind.

For someone who hated this movie, I turned a new leaf. It’s not one of my favorite war movies, but it’s pretty great. Aside from the visuals and sounds, Movie focuses heavy on the drama situations. I think the reason I didn’t like it at first was this. I wanted more character and dialogue building. It’s not your typical war movie.
