I used to love 300..not so much now. Watchmen has its moments and I do like it. Sucker Punch was terrible though. And I'm not sure how I feel about Man of Steel anymore. I really liked it when I first saw it but then on subsequent views, I'm not sure anymore
I just go home and watch it on Youtube.
Just watched 300 a few weeks ago and it held up for me.
And all I went into Man of Steel wanting was to finally see some decent action scenes in a Superman movie and it delivered in excess so I was satisfied.
It's not but these Nolan stans take his word as gospel
Yeah the action is dope. Again not saying I dislike it but I don't like it as much as I used to. I don't know something about it doesn't work for me as much as it did on first viewing. And I can't quite put my finger on what it is or isn't. But I've moved on ready for the next one.

He meant what he meant, "real movie" or not they wanted to tease something and he went out of his way to block it

I believe he didn't take it that way but he also doesn't live in a bubble. He's got people around him who are telling him what's being said and that it seems like he's insulting other movies so I feel you. If he didn't say it, cool, if he did say it, cool. I just don't have a problem with any artists staying how he truly feels about the art form they make their living in. Just like I appreciate when rappers come out and state when they think someone is trash. That old interview BIG did where he stated how he felt about MCs and hurt a couple feelings? Didn't mind it at all.
