Its a smart way to kick start the universe to start with a bang.


As far as thread topic..who cares. Its nolans opinion and hes very old school. Im willing to bet DC will be doing them from now on. Personally i could care less, half the time theyre a waste of time BUT people seem to love them so theirs no shame in copying it.

Its smart marketing when its a teaser for the next flick or furthering the mythos.

But when its stark talking to banner or howard the duck its a waste of time and feels forced.

They may do them or may not but it doesn't matter. Like homie said already focus on making a good movie that will be enough tease for fans to come back. If they want to do them fine they won't be the only studo to copy marvel on this one but if not who cares?

WB already tried this with Green Lantern by inserting that shot of Sinestro putting on the yellow ring, which at that point made absolutely no sense even if you were aware of the comics. And I don't think they should do them either. I only watch them in Marvel movies because they're there, but I wouldn't care if there weren't any.

like instead of showing 15 minutes of trailers they could do short vignettes on Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash, etc. Little mini movies that tease the origins/mythology of the characters. That's actually a genius fukking idea breh

Through out the history of Hollywood there's been several notable people who were extremely talented but said/did incredibly stupid shyt. He's not special in that regard, nor does his talent have anything to do with it.
