I don't have a stake in this "battle" but wasn't Jesus described as having wooly hair and feet the color of "burned brass" in Revelations?
My thing is...if White people painted Jesus as White, then Black people can claim him as Black.
Black Christians should have Black Jesus images and let go of the White one because subconsciously, it does have an effect and it reinforces the idea of White superiority in Black peoples minds.
And if you're going Black Jesus, please don't support images depicting him with a perm That's just more Black inferiority complex at work.
If you don't like him with dreadlocks, then get an image of him with a short fro or something.
