The actual quote from the ebook:

“He could probably make $50 million for being in the movie 20 minutes,” my friend [who worked on The Dark Knight Rises and many other films produced by Legendary Pictures] observed. “And it would be worth every penny to the studio.” Sources close to Christian Bale have reportedly begun expressing their suspicions that Bale now views the Batman films in the same light that Robert Downey, Jr. views the Iron Man films."

Seems it was just implied he could make this much like how Robert Downey Jr. w/ Iron Man and the Avengers is offered a lot of money.

Also seems they were referring to a JL type movie rather then the Batman vs. Superman movie.

And :stopitslime: at you guys saying Bale was a good Batman.

Batman had no commanding presence, no quotable lines, no nothing.

How can you be the most forgettable character in your own movie...

Now he did play a really good Bruce Wayne:ehh: but that's it.

Yeah
Breh that was Nolan's formula, make the main villain really interesting and the star of the show so that he/she will be memorable and be talked about, this why you still get people using Joker and Bane qoutes, how many other villain qoutes can you remember by memory without looking dem up. I haven't seen Rises since it was released in the Cinema and I can still remember Bane's :ohlawd: qoutes.

Also Rises gets better after you watch this vid

That video made me appreciate Nolan so much more

 That was dope

I'm a Batstan, like the next guy

I didn't say the cinematography wasn't excellent throughout the trilogy

But, the plot twist and the glaring plot holes was two much after the last two looks

I marked out :krs: seein' in the theater, for the first time

Didn't hold up, watching at home

Jazzy aint saying it didn't have problems because it definitely did, my man Nolan clearly didn't want to do it and got lazy with it hence why da quality of the film dropped from the level of The Dark Knight, but that vid makes me appreciate the film much much more than I originally did after watching it for the first time.

Atleast make this batman more agile, You can't have batman slugging it out every fight.

Even if Bale comes back, Snyder will have Batman fight like this (skip to 1:16 if you dont want to watch the full vid)

More agile, combative and skillful like in the toons but still realistic and not over the top.

Not only is he not the best batman, but the last two movies he's been outshined by ledger and Hardy. Why do these studios think actors make these movies instead of the prestige and lineage of the characters that long proceeded them. You could put paul rudd in there for 5 mil and it would still be successful

LOL @ that being Nolan's formula...most of the time in general the bad guy is always more interesting than the good guy. Joker is also 100x more entertaining that Batman regardless.

:comeon: nikka please, find Jazzy a comic book movie pre-The Dark Knight that intentionally puts the villain of the movie above the hero in the terms of quotes, looks, style, actions and emphasises them and their story especially over the one of the hero's. Nolan put out trailers that were dedicated to the villains of the film, they weren't about Batman, more about the villain. No comic book movie had done this before X-MEN films didn't do it, Superman films didn't do it and the Spiderman films certainly didn't do it, those films were about the hero first then the villain, Nolan films were about the villain first then the hero.

Now you've got every new villain in films doing speeches and shyt in trailers like Nolan's Joker and Bane were doing n looking uber mysterious and menacing, however they still fall short in comparison.

I'll stay in Batman territory to narrow it down for you. Batman 89...Nicholson owned every scene and the movie. For the longest nobody would touch the Joker cuz Nicholson killed it. Batman Returns...all Catwoman and Cobblepot. Every single Batman movie has always been the bad guys outshining Batman. lol @ you thinking this is some formula particular only to Nolan.
