Did a little research on this, apparently after the performance Spike Lee cut her out of his show She's Gotta Have It, she got dropped by her label, she had a miscarriage and suicidal thoughts.
She even did that goofy antic where she posted another woman's miscarriage photo and pretend it was hers which made things worse.
