Didn't watch the video but anybody that remembers that far back knows that's the real reason, not whatever shyt Jeannie was saying about it all being Demps not having approval
Yes, he needed them to agree since the league owned the Hornets but they put him in charge of finding the deal. He just so happened to accept the Lakers deal without them giving up Bynum, so they had Demps go to the table again and request Bynum so that LA couldn't force Orlando into a trade or sign Dwight with the freed up cap space after trading Bynum/Odom/Gasol
If it trade goes through and they sign Dwight, Kobe ends with more rings than MJ, CP isn't in PHX rn looking doughy still trying to get 1, LeBron's ring count is diminished and is looked at completely different, Kobe/that Laker squad probably has enough juice for some great games vs the Warriors early on. That veto changed the trajectory of NBA history

Bron might not have ever gotten a ring
I still say he probably gets 2016 but D12 & CP3 were only in their early 30s so LA would've re-tooled and who knows what that looks like. But besides that ring over the Warriors I'm taking that Laker big 3 over Miami's.
And Kawhi would've never won in SA, if that happens Uncle Dennis doesn't have anything to get the big head over. Do they still force their way out and if not Raptors are still at 0 rings
If you really sit and think you can draw a whole family tree of lines and shyt going back to that trade lol, everything would be different

All these ifs and what if’s. Get over it. None of that shyt was guaranteed to happen if CP goes to the Lakers. Y’all always bringing up LeBron and shyt that has nothing to do with him. Laker fans so spoiled (and I fukk with some of y’all) the one time y’all don’t get what you want it’s a conspiracy.Didn't watch the video but anybody that remembers that far back knows that's the real reason, not whatever shyt Jeannie was saying about it all being Demps not having approval
