AMC Theatres and Paramount Pictures have announced a rather peculiar deal allowing fans of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar to see the film at the theater as many times as they want for one price. AMC Stubs members can purchase their Interstellar Unlimited Tickets at participating AMC box offices at a costranging from $19.99 to $34.99 depending on location. AMC Stubs members who have already purchased a ticket to the movie can upgrade for $14.99.

After purchase, acommemorative Interstellar pass will be issued, which can be used at any AMC location playing the film. Though the ticket itself is unlimited, quantities are not, and fansare encouraged to get their Unlimited Ticket while supplies last.

Saw this earlier, pretty flat and the film should have wrapped up once he fell into the black hole. The stuff that followed after was just :pachaha:. Went from a relatively grounded Science-fiction film to a full-on Science-Fantasy flick. The stuff with Casey Affleck's character in the climax was so forced. Movie was over three hours and it still felt rushed. The music was overbearing. The planets weren't even that interesting and you only got to see two:stopitslime: the best parts were when they were jumping through wormholes and black holes, the film needed more of that.

Film peaked once
Matt Damon's character revealed his true intentions. His death scene was very good. Damon played that part well.

Armageddon did a better job of showing that the world was in danger, seemed to just be an American problem in this:yeshrug:. Only characters I gave a damn about were the two robot aids; TARS and CASE who had more personality than the entire cast put together. The father and daughter stuff just felt off and too artificial. Their last scene together said it all. It's the same problem I had with Leo and Marion's relationship in Inception and the one in The Dark Knight it just doesn't come across as genuine and feels too constructed. Doesn't help that they drive the films.

The other two astronauts also felt tacked on, why was Wes Bentley's character still outside when the wave was approaching? and the other guy waiting for

"Simply, we are living in a virtual reality in which our brains trick us into believing matter, space and time exist when there's only vibrating strings of energy. Our reality is determined by our brain's individual perception of these vibrating strings. If something comes along and changes the frequency at which these strings vibrate our reality changes. We do this all the time physically, but it has also been proven scientifically that the electromagnetic fields generated by our hearts can do this much more efficiently without the limitations of time and space. We just haven't learned to harness this internal technology yet."

Its funny I got this quote from this forum over a year ago, before I knew anything about this film, storyline wise.

I saved it on my phone. I read about m-theory/string theory after that.

This movie was a beautiful addition to the theories.

I thought it was a nice touch and my favorite scene when coop was in the 3 dimensional representation of what the 5th dimension would be.

Right down to the "strings" he was touching to manipulate gravity.

Its funny seeing the usual anti nolan brigade. But, opinions.

Nolans been able to bridge the gap between high concept and blockbuster and make it just digestable enough that the masses can enjoy it while those who want to dig deeper have plenty of ambigious material to ponder.

Also, I found it very amusing that mcconaughey did this right after true detective, considering his character in TD talked about m theory, perceiving time and other dimensional beings.

After a month this film is still the best film of the year. I've seen I've seen Gone Girl, Nightcrawler, Fury, and honestly Interstellar shyts on all of them. I really hope Nolan gets best director, best picture or original screenplay it's well deserved.
