The best Time Travel series is "Back To The Future Trilogy" period. "Looper" did a great job even though there may be some holes. Time Travel in general is very hard to do cause of the paradox's that come from it. I agree with whoever said "Trunks Saga" in Dragon Ball did a great job cause they did. But I do Trust Nolan but people need to keep it real. "Rises" was a huge step down from "TDK" and in the future people will finally be able to admit it as time goes by. But if you look at Nolan's catalog overall, the man has a very solid catalog.

:mjpls:...

The best time travel movie is "primer"...nothing even comes remotely close

problem is..primer shows how the majority of people need to see some thing like "Back to the future" to be able to even comprehend the subject matter

"Primer" was good but it's no where how Iconic the original "Back to the Future" is as far as Time Travel movies nothing is on "Back To Future" level.

Its "iconic" because its a Spielberg big budget 80's franchise...

If we talking purely about the subject matter and the science..then Primer wins

and primer was made with $6000 and only real niccas saw it

If I was to watch that shyt now for the first time...I wouldnt even be able to take it serious.....

The damn car used banana peels and trash as fuel...and made fire to the wheels while only going 75 mph........

I go 80 mph on the hwy to work...i dont see no damn fire

Great. Another film people who exclusively watch superhero and action films can pretend is intellectual high art.

And I like Nolan. But the way someone of you mouth breathers overrate him.:beli:

Like "The Prestige"...:russ:....shut up

Nolan is a master at Sci-fi.....

This will be a masterpeice
He should have written and directed Prometheus

I like Nolan but he's nowhere near a Sci-Fi God that Ridley is, so I don't agree with that.

Right because the last Sci-fi Ridley did was 30 years ago....

At least Nolan is able to discern a wack script from one that should be greenlit....

Ridley is just as much to blame for Prometheus as the writers, because that shyt was his baby

and if you want to go there...James Cameron is better at sci-fi than Ridley Scott

It's bigger than just Steven Spielberg and Zemekis. "Back To Future" is a cultural phenomenon. It's one of the greatest movies ever. It got way better reviews than "Primer" did. I'm not talking about the sequels either. I'm talking about the 1st "Back to the Future", it's considered the best film about time travel. Art is subjective so some might feel "Primer" is a little more raw and B2TF is more mainstream but it doesn't take away from the quality of the film. As for watching it today, it's aged very well which is why it's played on television and movie channels annually like it's a tradition. Also believe it or not "Back to the future" was done on a low budget back then. It was made for 19 Million it just became a blockbuster worldwide phenomena:
