Agreed. It was very weird considering the Nolans worked on the script, not even My Cocaine could scape the (at times) crappy dialogue.

I will say this. Inception and Interstellar as clearly Nolan's theme related companions. In the identical way Aronofsky's Black Swan and The Wrestler were his.

If you look at it, Inception deals with inner space, Interstellar with deep outer space.
Both at the core is about the reconnecting of the father to his children
Both are multi-layered with both the protagonists eventually entering limbo prior to being "saved"
Both have ambiguous paradoxes

A nolan stan will probably tell u its goat but its a very flawed film.



Nolan must of called up m. knight shamalan to see how he would end this flick

u dont care about any of these characters, michael cain is terrible in this movie, such a generic perfromance..some bad editing and its pretty rushed. all of the main characters are boring and just there.

people keep saying its one of those movies that sticks with u but i forgot about it an hour later. I was disapointed because i thought it would be great.

Good film it kept me entertained, its not going to change cinema like 2001: Space Odyssey, 3/5 for me.

I'm not sure if it was the film or my cinema but I could not hear some of the dialogue, did anyone else have this issue?

I blame it on a misunderstanding of the language, but then again, not everyone can have an understanding of physics beyond casual documentaries
