I don't have the slightest idea what Interstellar is about.

Food resources are depleting and scientist feel we have to leave Earth to find new resources. So after discovering a wormhole, they send a team to go through it. Obviously the beginning of the movie is the build up to the space trip. Then the middle of the movie is the actual trip and then we see what they find. Obviously we don't know if they make it back or not.

Dope.

So these nikkaz will really travel time?

Maybe. But based on the posters the wormhole seems to take them to different planets. There's snow in one poster and water in another. So I do think they either time travel or go to another dimension. In the "2001" ending, he basically goes through some kind of wormhole and ends up in another dimension. This film is clearly paying homage but it's Nolan. He knows how to have a shock ending (Memento, The Prestige, Inception) so we don't know what the twist will be. We don't know if they will make it home:

(In 2001: A Space Odyssey the main character goes through some kinda wormhole/star gate)

The trailer doesnt remind me of a typical Nolan film...... it seemed more Spielberg esque.

We'll see if he can make it work.
This is what I have been saying, I hope its just the way they are selling the trailer but everything about this movie since the day it was announced screams pretentious unolan and oscar baitish. Its like all the adulation he got for the psychobabableeccentricities in inception has changed him for the worst. What happened to memento/insomia nolan who blazed his own trail? now every project has got to be pushing some potential/current affair and/or laced with some heavily cliched dialogue its like hes become "pop".

DKR didnt seem organic like most of his other shyt u could tell WB had him over the barrel and what did we get, an overly ambitious experiment that fell apart in execution.Same with man of steel but that wasnt even ambitious as such its just his ego that killed that from the jump. If interstellar sux it will be official that hes in a slump. I swear watching that trailer has me thinking his estrogen must be really high now hes past 40

:scust: full on bashing and negative reviewing the movie months before its out based on a trailer!? :what:

It had a "Nolan influence"

That didnt seem like a Snyder film to me.
What he did with Watchmen was different....but at least effective.

man of steel seemed PLENTY like a snyder film..boring as fukk and soul-less :scust:

Is anyone else skeptical about this one? Nothing about the trailer really intrigues me. I want to like it because it's Nolan, but so far the trailers have me feeling :patrice::shaq2:
trailers haven't shown anything, thank god.

My question is why do they decide to go through the wormhole? I mean, you have no idea where it's going to put you in space after you go through it, I feel like there's something more to it that the trailers obviously haven't revealed yet
