Everyone spinning this into a "Win" because Jericho is doing his best to roll with the punches is dumb af. The main headline is still "AEW has their belt stolen 24 hours after crowning the first champion for it" This is stupid embarrassing, and their best bet like others are saying here, is to turn it into a storyline. I am sure they already ordered a new belt to be made. Maybe they can lay something out where Moxley took it and run a feud between them two...

They have two belts. This one can easily be replaced. Chill.

Good publicity vs bad publicity. Having your belt stolen far outweighs some memes on the internet or Jericho releasing a Camron promo. This is a loss for AEW and Jericho not a win. No matter how you spin it. Go tell any casual wrestling fan that was on the fence about checking out AEW that their belt was stolen you will get the :mjlol: and they might not even check them out now.

That is the direct effect of this bad publicity.

Definitely an L for AEW. Any publicity is good publicity but not this kind of nonsense before your TV-show has even begun airing.

In UFC, the champion never actually enters the octagon with their belt because the UFC makes a new one for every title fight to award to the winner. So the champion does have possession of a belt, but it's probably at home. For example, Demetrious Johnson was only a one-time UFC champion, but he got a new belt for every title defense.

That seems like the dumbest way to throw away a shyt ton of money. :dwillhuh:

But I respect it. :ehh:

I’m still :dead: at Arby’s coming outta nowhere and trying to be slick, only for Jericho to ether them. Looks like Arby’s won’t be a sponsor anytime soon. :mjlol:

I really wanna read Wendy’s thoughts on this. Someone get Wendy on the @ now! :damn:

“Save the cardboard for your sandwiches” is definitely the last thing the social media intern saw before they were fired.

It's gotta be around 12 years since the last time I've given a true shyt about wrestling so I'm casual as fukk, tsc characters and jokes do a better job keeping me in than the product. I did watch All In and liked most of it besides the corny throne, knew when All Out was happening and didn't care. The way they're running with this I'm actually interested in what happens next and way more likely to watch than whatever they had baking. I don't even have to look at Twitter to know I'm not the only one.

This could benefit them more than it not happening. And if there's any figure in wrestling that could run with this and turn it into gold it's Jericho. Idk what that dude is talking about or why he's so upset lol.

I am pretty sure that immediately giving value to the title and having millions of people discuss it, even in this context, is not a bad look.

The only bad publicity here is for Arby's :mjlol:
