This is the disparity in expectations and reactions that pisses me off. Sean Hannity and Chris Cuomo have the same fukking job. Chris Cuomo gets fired for helping his brother during his off hours, but Sean Hannity can spread propaganda, campaign and act as a unofficial advisor to the president for four years....and no one bats an eye. No one is saying Hannity's massive "conflict of interests" will be used to to teach the next generation of journalist students.

Where was this pressure in the media when Hannity was doing all this bullshyt for four years? And I don't give two shyts about either Cuomo brothers. I don't even watch the three cable news nor do I care about the former governor of NY.

No one mentioned him. You mentioned him. IDK why you are comparing the two. No one here ever mentions Hannity as a journalist. We have derided that c*nt for years. And Hannity himself says he isn't a journalist.

I don't know what you are saying by bringing him up. That is why I have to ask why are you are praising him because no one here is talking about Hannity and we call him a buffoon.

What he did was professionally unethical but I don't fault him for looking after his brother.

CNN is going to bury him for a while to see if the smoke clears - which is why they didn't outright fire him.

Sooner than later Cuomo is going to be taught in journalism classes. The next generation of students will be taught to not do what he did in this situation

I graduated as a journalism major damn near 20 years ago and one of, if not the first thing you learn, is don't involve yourself personally with the subject of a story lest you become a part of the story. There's not a journalist alive that hasn't already been taught not to do what he did.

There's nothing inherently unique about this Cuomo situation. He committed a major ethical violation in his trade that reflects extremely badly on his company. But this is like saying someone getting caught stealing out the cash register will be taught about in business schools from here on out.

It's par for the course, no pun intended.

People don’t have a low standard for Hannity it’s just that there is nothing to be done with Fox News anchors because they don’t label themselves as journalists and don’t even attempt to have integrity. You can’t scrutinize them because the people that listen to them aren’t there for anything reasonable.

imo cuomo is the best show on after 8. i have no interest in him stepping down, frankly i dont want him to at all

but the idea that chris was looking into the victims is like we're not talking about him just being biased on the news. we all know hannity makes fukkin north korean state tv look like NPR.

i dont think he'd be having to step down for just biased reporting on the cuomo allegations
