I can't lie...my respect for Chris Christie jumped upon hearing of this story. I mean, dude was willing to screw over thousands of people just to make a point. Right or wrong, you have to respect that. Dude is more gangsta than all the rappers in the NYC Tri-state area combined.

Crown this man Chris Corleone. But his presidency chances have taken a body shot to "the button" and he's on one knee trying to regain his balance.

Peace
:what: No I don't have to respect vindictive acts of corruption against taxpayers by elected officials. What is wrong with you? Did growing up on hip-hop and gangsta flicks fukk your mind up this bad?

My post is tongue and cheek. Of course what happened was wrong and an abuse of power. Does that need to be reiterated with every post?

But even if did chuckle at what he did, so what? You think he's the first politician to pull that kind of move? Better yet, do you think he'll be the last?

Peace

Any chance you can make this smaller? Trying to save it as a smiley and it's saying the width is too big

Benghazi isn't a scandal
I knew I spelled it wrong. And im pretty sure Hillary got the scandal treatment not to long ago over benghazi. At the end of it all the older voters are only going to remember the sandal it doesn't matter that that it was all full of shyt.

Hillary got the "Scandal Treatment" because it was politicized but there has not been any evidence of a intentional cover-up

This issue with Christie was clearly a scandal as emails prove the bridge was purposely held up for malicious intent.

Most of the circumstances that happened in Benghazi were out of Hillary's control so the complexity won't really resonate with voters but these people were right under Christie

Romney's transformation into a "severe conservative" during the GOP primary was borderline cartoonish.
It's funny because this behavior was more common with democrats trying to become "centrists".
Now you can win the presidency simply by running on the left, which was unthinkable 20 years ago. Democrats don't need to have southerners on the ticket either, the current electoral map has made the South irrelevant.
This depend son how you're defining "left." It's not like Dems did not have very close races in those elections.

"It wasn't just the everyday lives of commuters and residents that were altered or in some cases jeopardized by what happened in Fort Lee," Kornacki explained. "Something else was affected and possibly jeopardized, something of enormous economic and political significance."

Kornacki explained that there is currently a billion dollar development project in Fort Lee, right next to where the lane closures occurred. The project is a keystone of Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich's tenure.

As Kornacki explains, the closure of two of the three access lanes may have been part of a larger effort to shut them down for good, which could have significantly diminished potential investors' interest in the project. Close the lanes, and the entire project could be derailed.
