nikka i have no reason to hate NY and I have no reason to root for Chicago. Biting is biting and i call it how I see it.

For real. People too paranoid.

I remember people from chicago wanting to be from Ny in the early 2000 and then atlanta in the later decade.

These young black new yorkers like the chicago style and they jumped on it but we got old mexicans telling us we lying :what:

*throws fitted in the air*
for real. I mean dude in the second video clearly said "he drills shyt" (pause).

I mean I'm not gonna say they're biting all they way b/c they still kind of sound like some ny cats

but You cant deny the influence drill music has. :whoo:

Its funny how much hip hop can change b/c 10 years ago a bunch of chicago nikkas were trying to sound like dip-set and jadakiss (esp on the south side)

"how chicago end up the last, whats up

how the hell the dirty south gon pass us up":smh:

Fam...are you sitting here with a straight face denying these lil dudes are very painfully obviously doing their very best "chicago drill internet video" impersonation here? In an alternate reality where the drill movement doesn't exist, neither does this video...like the first bar on the song is "59 shots to the opps" ...the last words on the song are "free the guys"...the hook as well as the verses by every single person rapping except the cat in the middle with a jadakiss/mase sound, is that same stuttering flow that's used on like 90% of drill records..admitting reality doesn't reflect negatively on new york, a bunch of teenage chief keef stans made a video...big deal...but to deny where they're lifting this sh!t from is ridiculous

:stopitslime: Base your facts on some nobodies that no one has ever heard of and base all of ny as that...them nikkas don't represent all of my g...

Other side
Etc etc you are saying this is not chitown slang?

There are a ton of specific chi gang banging drill keywords that are in use here. It is what it is, denial is foolish but whatever's do you.

As far as expecting these dude to be wearing baggy jeans and camo naw not really...

As far as expecting to see Brownsville nikkas lamping on their front stoops yeah I expect that because if I ride through Brownsville right now I will see a bunch of dudes chilling on there stoop. As far as expecting to see project dudes chilling in there lobbies or on the benches by the basket ball courts yeah I expect to see that cause if I actually went to the projects in NYC today thats what I would see.... I might see twenty dudes posted up on front of a corner store... So I wouldn't be surprised to see that in a video...

I definitely would never see 40 dudes mobbing around in the middle of the asphalt roadway of their street because I would never see that in real life in Brooklyn...

Only place I see that is in drill rap videos so to me looks like these dudes are taking the drill rap style of video and running with it... But whatever not that serious
How exactly is other side apart of Chi Town slang? The rest you is just the way teens are talking opps, thots these drill nikkas made it nationwide slang. It is what it is. Nikkas from ocean to ocean know what a thot is.

There's been plenty of low budget videos shot like that my nikka, Chicago didn't come up with mobbing with ya homies and shooting a video in the streets. I can't believe these nikkas are being credited with that shyt :mindblown:

You say we jacked they appearance when these nikkas look like Smoke DZA, Vado, Max B clones. These nikkas rocking Polo/Tommy Hilfiger when both designers are New Yorkers and we've been wearing that shyt since the 80s. We was rocking Pelle Pelle for years. Chief Keef is a self proclaimed True Religion fiend, and Dipset was rocking Trues in '07 when only white boys in Cali were rocking em. How we jacked that appearance?

They talked to Bobby Shmurda they asked him who his influences were this nikka didn't mention a single drill rapper he talked about 50 Cent and Lil Boosie though. :ld:

:dwillhuh: they're the only new york dudes in the OP and kinda the entire point of the thread...but yeah, "these drill clones don't represent all of nyc" is far more acceptable than "these dudes are not drill clones" ...so, i'll take that...let's me know i'm not dealing with 100% sheer denial

:russ: Of course he wouldn't credit Chicago with influencing him. After the whole ASAP lifting from the South thing the last thing Shmurda needs is that against his name. It's damage limitation, though anyone with a functional set of ears and eyes can tell where they have been influenced from. :stopitslime:
