The thing that you fail to realize is that the chi town shyt is what these nikkaz grew up on. They grew up on trap music (Jeezy, tip, Gucci, bricksquad) The culture has obviously transferred to NY, just like many other hip hop cultures, practices and styles have before.

For example, I imagine that back in the 80s, when nikkaz was rockin track suits, Adidas. Fila, and nike sweatsuits with phat gold chains and Jheri curls, that just wasn't a ny thing. It wasn't an LA thing, it was a cultural thing. That's what people aren't realizing now
