When I am at the hotel I just use their wifi...but all that shyt be censored. When I use the wifi at the hotel I can't even see most of the videos and sites the coli posts in threads.

Every once in a while I can get youtube to work. But you can watch a video or maybe 2 and then that shyt gets black out....same with porn sites...:mjlol:
Wait so the firewall isn't 100% effective? :dead:

A lot of white supremacists in this thread. @Rhakim, you are one of the best posters on this site but you disappointed me in this thread. This ain't got shyt to do with us good Black folks. For us as a collective, this is not our issue. We can have an opinion but we are not equipped to speak on this issue.
I don't think you read my posts closely enough.

#1: I fully support anyone who doesn't want to speak out. It's a complex issue on the other side of the world, no Black man in America is morally required to know about all that.

#2: If you choose to speak out and support China though, you ignorant or an ass.

I'm mad at Russ Harden and that Chinese owner of the Nets for caping for China and doing their dirty work. I ain't mad at anyone who keeping their mouth shut.

look at this y'all, cops killing unarmed black people is lightweight racism. and if you as a black man in america speak out on things happening in your country then that means you have to speak on everything happening in other countries because you have to be "fair". why? he doesn't live or pay taxes in china. if an american wants to inform themselves about what's going in the world and speak on it that's their prerogative. if they only want to concern themselves with what's happening at home that's their prerogative as well. why not just call him selfish and only caring about americans?

Also this some geopolitics between 2 of the 3 most powerful countries in the world....folks want to use these players to do the dirty work politicians should be doing.

You wouldn't want a politician to be involved with Geopolitics who doesn't know the history of said countries. But we want some dude who plays basketball to be involved in Geopolitics? Also kats want athletes and coaches going in on china while in china?:mindblown:

So these same kats gonna travel to Saudi Arabia and while there talk shyt about the country and their human rights:sas1: we will see how long that lasts.

This shyt between the US and china is so freaking complicated cause it is truly Geopolitics. China is a communist country we do business with. But at the same time they steal commercial technology and military technology from us. But this the same country we work through to keep North Korea in check.

While at the same time this a country who armed the north vietcong (with Russia) to fight the US and South Vietnam. Then when south Vietnam fell and Vietnam united...china then attacked vietnam..:dead:

Then during angola civil war after the vietnam war the US and China fought together against the Russians and Cubans...:dead:

While at the same time in the late 70s the US and China came to a gentleman's agreement to recognize china as the only china and not taiwan. But with the fine print saying that the US will still arm Taiwan:dead:. All the while the only reason the US developed a relationship with China was to slow down Russia.:heh:

Yeah if I was a player or coach I would sit this shyt out too. We have had like 40 plus years of politicians and presidents try to handle this and there are still issues between the two countries.
They wild stupid on it. That one fool seriously gave LeBron full responsibility for the fate of the Chinese government. :dead:

I wonder did Adam Silver make a phone call to other NBA owners about dont say anything stupid about this situation
Ain't no owner was gonna say shyt except to cape for China. :mjlol:

I'm sure a message has been passed to players/staff though. :francis:

I can't believe I just read what he said on thecoli in 2019. I thought we purged all of the 4cac trolls
So you don't read The Coli much do you. :comeon:

I had to take on one and the fool got bushed just last week. Just saw another got reinstated after his multi-month bushing. :shaq2:

You’re scared to speak your mind on an internet forum so that you can keep getting internet points, and that’s why you’ll remain an internet revolutionary.

fukk every silent person going into 2020. No excuses for not speaking the truth.

The Arsenal
its about caring about people.

The issues Lebron speaks about actually dont effect him.
Dude is one of the richest most famous people on earth...if you think he has any idea on what life is like for the everyday black person you are delusional.

People hated for Lil Wayne for saying what he said a few years ago...but at least he was truthful...these cats everyday lives are night and day compared to what anyone on here experiences.
how the fukk doesn't it affect him? he has black sons. so even if you want to say he's famous enough that some race soldier won't kill him, his sons aren't. i'm sure lebron has had a conversation with his sons about the police that no rich white athlete has had with theirs. thabo sefolosha had his leg broken by some nyc pig. sterling brown was assaulted and tased and could have been killed. so basically your position is "if you have a face that's famous enough so that a race soldier won't risk killing you, you should shut the fukk up."

and he was't born famous, his life before his talent was identified was rougher than most.

I respect people who speak out but these NBA guys are in China. They aren't on twitter or the Coli. They want to be able to get out of the country with no problems.
They shouldn't have to speak on a controversy they did not start or a political issue they are not well informed on. There are also financial considerations. Obviously, most Americas disagree what is going on in China but we as a people and businesses like the NBA can't control how another super power country is run. This is a battle Taiwan and Hong Kong will have to fight on their own, ultimately.

Look we can keep going onn and on about how much bigger companies and organizations capitulate when they see expedient

None of these MAGA propagandists care about China or human rights or black people

They must be chuckling at how they are getting people to demand a human rights campaign from NBA players

Never forget

The NBA league office late Friday sent a memo to teams reinforcing the rule that players and coaches must stand for the national anthem, and suggesting other ways in which teams might address the recent protest movement sweeping across the NFL and other sports, according to a copy of the memo obtained by ESPN.

The memo, distributed by deputy commissioner Mark Tatum, instructs teams that "the league office will determine how to deal with any possible instance in which a player, coach, or trainer does not stand for the anthem." The memo states that individual teams "do not have the discretion to waive" the rule that players, coaches, and staff must stand for the anthem. The league has the discretion to discipline players who violate the rule.

Express yourself unless it messes with the bottom line.

I didn't know Lebron was literally in China right now. That's my bad.

Calling them out right now would be way too risky (but still pretty badass).

The wild part about all this is Morey would have probably got fired if China didn't overreact, and get so childish about a tweet that most of their citizens can't even see.

Now the NBA and Tillman are stuck because they don't want to narrative to be that they got bullied into firing an NBA executive by a foreign country, because of his opinion on a human rights violation. It would be a horrible look for a league that prides itself on being a "values based organization". So now all Silver can do is back Morey and live with the consequences.
