I mean by definition... what is socialism really??? Because all i know is democracy or at least the illusion of it. There has been no true socialist representative in congress... either your a republican or a democrat. or an independent
Oh okay. Anyways how I always saw socialism is socialism=basically satisfying human NEEDS without profit unlike with Capitalism.
The thing is Capitalism(and hell even democracy) just plain doesn't work for poor non-western countries. Capitalism is "competition" right? Basically the game of monopoly where everyone has their cards? Well how can most people in African countries "play the game" when most don't have enough cards or cards at all. And only the small elite has all the cards.
Democracy? Lets be flipping honest, some not f*ck it MOST countries are NOT meant for democracy and hell I'll say they were better off under their "dictatorship" than having democracy; see Libya and Iraq.
Democracy is majority rules right? Well lets look at Africa.
- African countries like Nigeria could have over 200+ different ethnic groups
- Borders were artificially made and so different ethnic groups were forced to share a same nation. The Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo of Nigeria NEVER shared a nation and hardly ever came into contact with one another until the concept of "Nigeria".
- Due to the above tribal wars have broke out. Or the larger ethnic group in an African country dominates the smaller one; see Ethiopia. I mean majority rules right?
Anyways I hope I make sense.
