Anytime someone tried to tell some folks about this, they were told they are ignorant and it's just all business. Every country except blacks ones apparently is looking to have dominance over others. This is how geopolitics are played. Chinese and now increasingly more Russians are not there just for mutually beneficial deals. If relations ever go south and some Africans decide they want more independence from those countries, let's see how willing those countries are willing to give up their access. The new boss will become the old boss very quickly.
I'd respect full independent movements breaking with the west. Instead I'm seeing countries simply trading one group of outsiders for another.

Last time I checked, China didn't transport 12 million Africans across the Atlantic Ocean, killing 2 million of them on the journey across the sea, for a system of murderous/rapist chattel slavery for enslaved and their descendants for hundreds of years - then followed by a system of racial segegration/economic exploitation and a carceral system of mass jailing for more economic exploitation.
