It is still easier to cut off China than America.

China knows this, hence their aggressive business model is to attach themselves to a feeder nation. They do this through debt traps by bribing local officials etc. Montenegro is having such issues with China now.

China was an attractive alternative to the West, early days..but now the World has slowly wisened up to how China behaves and Im seeing more nations decry business relations with China and seek alternatives elsewhere.
