I've had ad a bunch of friends comment and talk about Chucky over the last week and how they enjoyed remake too. That kind of makes me smile. 
this shyt was better than i expected 
had some moments that were hilarious like when the kid hit Chucky upside the back of his head with the frying pan
and when he cut Andy with the knife talking bout some “i just wanted to make you happy”
Aubrey Plaza was looking like a snack too
the original was more sinister while this was damn near a full blown comedy with tons of gore but it was a decent watch, reminded me of that movie “Idle Hands”
only major gripe is the ending felt rushed and lackluster

After seeing this movie, I have come to the realization
Overall the movie was so-so. I didn't care for the new Chucky design, it looked like something out of Friday Night at Freddie's. The acting was solid but wasted on a shytty script. The kills were way to orchestrated. And the movie wasn't funny enough to be a comedy (this is for 2Pac?), not scary enough to be a horror and not thought provoking enough to be a social commentary.
