My only issue with Trini being dead is she was implied to be alive in Grid Connection, which was only a few years ago. Obvious she could have died any time between then and now, but the trailer seems to imply that she died when her daughter was still a child.

They could have avoided all of this since Aisha was right there and is actually in this special.

I would imagine Aisha’s weight gain since the show ended unfortunately played a part in why they didn’t give her the nod.

If they aren’t going to use actors like they used to, then they could easily try and get the original actor to do the voiceover since SAG isn’t a hindrance anymore.
