He's made some appearances since he gained all the weight though.Jason is a fat ass now so he wouldn’t even be able to fit in a Ranger suit. I’m not a Rocky Stan though, he was trash and so was Johnny replacing Zac
Outside of the chubby face, he looked fine in Beast Morphers. Besides the majority of those costumed rangers are stunt doubles or sentai footage anyways.

Yeah I think it's just the legal trouble that he was and is currently going through. He was even a bit chubby in forever red.
It was the legal issues as it was rumored that it was supposed to be him instead of Rocky in the reunion. He could have been eating good (no pun intended) from the OG Power Ranger role especially since JDF had retired from the role before he passed away.
He’s still doing con appearances so I’m guessing he just couldn’t leave the country to film.

Nahhhh Power Rangers has rarely ever done that before, so I highly doubt that they'd start now. They'd rather just not have those costume actors talk at all or have someone else in the cast do the voice than get their original characters to do the voice acting. I can only remember one instance that they did it and that was with Eka Darville and even then, they had to change his name in the credits and only voice acting just to bypass SAG requirements and get him on the cheapNah they could’ve sent a cheaper second unit to get footage or cameos or some shyt. Honestly though, I don't get the concept of the anniversary special and would have rather them just did an outright reunion, but I'm guessing they are going to tie it into Cosmic Fury since it's rumored that Billy was still filming in New Zealand after everyone else had left.

They’ve killed rangers off before to only have them come back later (Kendrick, Zayto, Roboknight), but I don’t know how to feel about them “killing” one off that we know isn’t coming back based on real life circumstances.
Hopefully they got her families blessings beforehand or else

Ehhh it's a difference as we are talking about technically a kids show. Shows write off characters who've died in real life instead of killing them off the show and they don't always turn their death into a storyline either.
It's also bad timing as well since now you're going to have some fans expecting them to do the same with Tommy's character in Cosmic Fury eventhough filming was nearly complete at his death.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree lol. We know it's no way she's making an appearance but honestly I'm absolutely certain they talked with the family since David Yost was probably the main driving force behind this.
