With the way some women already knowingly lie about who the father is, or in some cases aren't sure who the father is, this is not a good idea. We've all heard about how in a lot of instances of a man paying child support and then finds out the child is not even his, but he is still obligated to pay. So I'd agree with this if paternity can also be established during the pregnancy. And if it comes to pass that the child is not his and the woman knows its not then she must pay every cent back to that man.

:ohhh:

TIL paternity can be established within 2 - 5 months during pregnancy.....

You already 2-5 months deep in support payments, why would the payee (or the state) even bother doing this?

'‘(B) the start date for such obligations20
may begin with the first month in which the21
child was conceived, as determined by a physi-22
cian (and shall begin with that month if the23
mother so requests)'

This is OD and a cash grab for the state

Child ain't even come out yet, can't even tell for sure if its the man she with actual baby and you pay as soon as the baby bump show up?

Nah son. What happens to that money with a miscarrage or if the child dies before birth?
Well all the life starts with conception people will tell you - the money was used to support the baby while it was alive. Mom needs housing, mom needs food to nourish baby, mom needs health care, my may need various tests and medication during the pregnancy - child support at that time helps pay for all that to keep baby in a healthy, stable environment .

why would i agree with child support through pregnancy if dna tests aren't mandatory. :what:

have you lost your damn mind? :what:

No, I haven't. Everybody was up in arms about losing abortion? Well let's bring it back. Lets add CS payments while pregnant. Outlaw paternity tests like France

Those are great things for women.

If you don't like it, better choose the right woman.

The dad for sho... too bad the bill has no verbiage in it to accommodate that or if the child dies before birth

Yea... I actually read that shyt
Title III – Unborn Child Support
Section 301 – The Unborn Child Support Act
• This provision would require states to apply child support obligations to the time period
during pregnancy. The requirement would be applicable retroactively based on a court
order at the request of the pregnant parent and a determination by a physician of the
month during which the child was conceived. Existing state requirements are applicable
to these obligations, such as proof of parenthood.

Nothing about spontaneous abortions, though, so you'd still be on the hook until the 'termination' of the pregnancy I think.

That's why I'm glad I looked up when and HOW paternity can be established with NO risk in-utero....

Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity (NIPP): A non-invasive prenatal paternity test is the most accurate non-invasive way to establish paternity before the baby is born. The process is state-of-the-art, combining the latest technology and proprietary methods of preserving and analyzing the baby’s DNA found naturally in the mother’s bloodstream. This test requires only a simple blood collection from the mother and alleged father and can be performed any time after the 8th week of pregnancy. The test is 99.9% accurate.
