i dont understand why these professional athletes are getting drunk mid season in the first place. obviously they should be allowed to relax on their days off but you would think they would be trying to keep their bodies in the best shape not staying out all night getting drunk and possibly hungover

it doesnt even have to be a bar. you could get drunk for free and cannot crash at the place youre at or have to be somewhere next day...

and yes I was in that position. and not drinking is not an option in college

Some teams also provide car services, the issue is that some players are just too lazy and cheap to pick up the phone for a private cab service.

Some of the players probably think it's easier to just drive home instead of waiting for a private cab and paying for it.

Private is the keyword. Players had to negotiate in the last CBA that teams couldn't contact those cab services to see who they were picking up and what times/days, etc...some teams were using it as justification to bench and cut players. If I was them I wouldn't trust the teams either especially if you're a fringe player and not a star who's gonna get shot after shot (pun maybe intended) to continue to fukk up. And the TEAMS PAY FOR THIS SERVICE so it's not the player(s) being cheap. Don't condone drinking and driving but there's a reason no matter how stupid it is behind the bs

I said I WAS in that position when in college. I never was addicted to shyt or feeling insecure, your assumptions make you look like a faggit. I barely even drink nowadays.
