Whether or not Chief Keef’s twitter was hacked or not, Lupe’s response to all of this has me a bit worried for him. The guy’s been fighting for so long to spread a message of awareness and hope and yet he’s had to watch his city get worse and worse with no signs of getting better. Also the way that people have been shunning him lately can’t have helped things. I think it all really hit him today with the way Keef’s crew & twitter followers bashed him for giving a damn about their well being that all those years of fighting have changed nothing and I think it legitimately broke his heart. It’s been evident in his music and his demeanor that he hasn’t been happy in a while and I think he may have hit a low point with this. If F&LII really does turn out to be his last album then I won’t even blame him, I just hope that he’s able to find some peace and get his smile back. He’s got such a big heart and he deserves much better then all of this bullshyt.
