to help a fellow chicago nikka make it.

but this nikka is ungrateful as fukk

How do you help him "make it" by doing a remix after his song is already hot and he has been buzzin for months? That's like Ludacris doin a remix to Cashin Out and nikkas sayin he was just trynna help Cash Out "make it" :leostare:

Keef has said he has never even spoke to Kanye. How he helping a nikka he ain't never spoke to once? Kanye was trying to get his hood fanbase back by piggybacking the hottest movement going on in his city. The move was transparent as fukk.

He didn't stop him from doing it though

Being Hot in your city doesn't equate to Major radio play, and this is coming from a nikka in The A with 1 million one-hit wonders..They don't even play the original version on radio.

The only version they play here in St. Louis is the original.

I don't know about that, when the remix came out it had around a million views or less on youtube. I doubt Kanye is out looking for 15 year old wack ass trap rappers with 50k views. I would consider myself kinda updated with all this music shyt and I had no idea about Chief Keef before the remix, so kanye was way ahead of myself :flabbynsick:

B.....I dont even like Chief Keef & I heard about him.

This is an interview on Fake Shore Drive before Yeezy announced the remix.

DJ Pharris Interview W/ FSD; Talks "Theraflu", Chief Keef & Upcoming Projects | Chi-Town's Finest

FSD: So I heard a rumor that “Theraflu” was heavily influenced by Chief Keef and the new rappers bubbling in Chicago. Any truth to that?
DJ Pharris: Well, Kanye is watching what’s going on in Chicago right now. He’s definitely watching what these guys are doing pretty closely. He talked to me about it, and we had a pretty big conversation about what’s going on here right now. He sees the movement and power these young kids have. I don’t know if they totally inspired the record, but I do know that he likes what is coming out of Chicago right now. He especially likes Chief Keef. One of the records Ye kept playing over and over again was Keef’s “I Don’t Like.” We played it on repeat in the studio. Ye just kept blurting out “I Don’t Like,” then Don C would walk in the studio and yell out “I Don’t Like…..I Don’t Like.” Kanye told me “I Don’t Like” was his second favorite record only to “N***** In Paris” — I couldn’t believe it. I told him “You’ve gotta me kidding me,” but he was dead serious.

Now....that article came out April 13th. Kanye ain't announce the remix til late April. Keef was already at a few million views in April.

All I'm saying is........Kanye ain't just pick up some random loser & bless him with a major label remix. He saw something bubbling there :mjpls:

That's good for St. Louis,
Never heard the original here on all 3 of our hiphop stations here in Atlanta.

Lol.

Not saying I give a fukk, just disproving whatever point you were trying to make. nikkas don't even fukk with the overproduced version of the song.

Song is crap on the radio though. 80% of the words are edited out. :skip:

It didn't have a few million views it had about 1 million when I first heard it and that was when the remix dropped. So when Kanye heard it it must've been a few hundred thou. The song was uploaded on March 11th and it was on a mixtape that dropped a few days after that. A month later Kanye is fukking with him.
I mean he wasn't a random loser, he was a dude with a track that Kanye was fukking with.

I mean why would he remix a random ass song with 3 views on youtube instead of a dude who grinds hard, put out a dope joint that was bubbling on the low.

Is Kanye God to some of the dudes on the coli? He made a remix of a damn song, so did about 100 other nikkas. Kanye's was the hottest and the one that was poppin and introduced a lot of cats to Chief Keef from Tokyo to Minsk. Well props, let's move on. I don't see why cats are acting like Kanye did something out of order.
