I don’t think it’s cool how those kids talked to that older woman, but I do think the outrage is a bit disingenuous. Had those kids said what they said to Tim Scott or the surgeon general, I believe what those kids did would’ve damn near been applauded.
With that being said, I think this mayor should’ve went to their parents with all that. Also, if she’s out getting her hair done and not doing the same to the white folks out protesting & at these parks, then she’s being quite the hypocrite

You actually believe she decided to do this because of some statistic?.....or her looking out for the well-being of the Black community?
If 70% affected white folks, i SERIOUSLY doubt she would take the same approach as she did with those kids.
Do you REALLY think she would walk all up in Lincoln Park or Canaryville with her chest out?

It was completely well intended and harmless.
blacks are disproportionately hospitalized and dying as a result of covid19, there are several measures that have to be taken to ensure that less people will succumb to it...this being one of those measures that has proven to work...so I ask...what exactly is the problem here?
