Stories like this really show how irrelevant the concept of good and bad cops is. Obviously there are decent people in every profession. But enforcement, political, military, etc fields boil down to protecting the shield or protecting the head. If the shield falls or if the head gets cut off, everything crumbles.
Cops defend cops. The cop who pulls the trigger isn't the only problem, and sometimes he isn't a problem at all (mistakes happen). It's the cop who sees the fukk up and lies in the police report. Or the cop who deletes the dash cam footage. Or the police chief who brushes if all under the rug. Or the prosecutor who gives the department an assurance he'll confuse the grand jury. Or the "journalist" who runs a smear article on the victim with information received from police. It's the entire system.
The NYPD tried to assassinate Serpico for exposing corruption. Does anyone think the NYPD has gotten better since then, given that they have even more power now? This is happening everywhere...

Like I mentioned in another thread.I'm honestly at a loss at what to do about this shyt, but it's happening so much I'm getting desensitized.
I mean, what...more protesting? It's been done to death and it doesn't do much, but I'm not sure what other recourse there is.
Theoretically I don't have a problem with BLM, a group which is dead set on "systematic reform", but practically, the organization lacks the proper leadership and other forms legitimacy to be taken seriously.
Instead of essentially shaming nonblacks into not being racist, holding biases and other ingrained prejudices; BLM would be a lot more effective if they used their platform to organize and recruit young black people then: give them a voice, outlet and path to follow to be next group of lawyers, doctors, police chiefs, prosecutors, mayors, governors, representatives, senators etc. Which all hold prominent positions in society and influence our lives daily. On top this, making sure as many eligible black people as possible are registered and informed about the importance of voting. High minority voter turnout is a very crucial step in making sure high concentration of blacks aren't being left open to attacks like Ferguson. This is how you get shyt done / attack white supremacy...
What the fukk does having a white employer have to do with anything?
breh people seem to forget, the biggest reason myself and many others were upset over Ferguson, had little to do with the actual confrontation but more so with how the police department / media tried to cover it up...
