for the small things the MLK marches did work for. what they did different was. they didnt just march. They had an agenda(list ready to go the moment someone asks them. and it was specific things they asked for.) They also conducted a lot of sit ins and didnt buy from white folks. now as of today that would be harder to pull off. since so many things have white hands in them that you have no clue about.
