Dude carjacked somebody at gunpoint, hit another vehicle while being chased by cops, killing an 11 yr old, got out the ride, stole another car, and he still on the loose

An 11-year old boy was killed Saturday following the crash of a stolen car and the car in which the child was riding with his father.

Police say the stolen car was taken in an armed carjacking, and was speeding away when it collided with another vehicle at 55th and Halsted on Chicago’s south side.

The suspect then fled the vehicle and stole another vehicle nearby and fled the scene.

The father was listed in good condition, but the 11-year old was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to an area hospital.

There are no suspects in custody at this time and police are still investigating.
