Boomers are dying. We can't continue to blame them. Stricter gun laws are a necessary evil. I don't give a shyt about people that continue to commit felonies after being given a chance to right their wrongs. Stop with the kid gloves. They do not have the right nor do they deserve to be on the streets terrorizing people. Society is not your momma or daddy. Society has no obligation to hold their hands. fukk them. You ever been minding your business and had guns pointed at you? I have. fukk them nikkas. No excuses

Ol "my baby ain't did nothin" ass nikka:stopitslime:
They are the literal reasons behind the condition, the generation dying doesn't mean the mark they left on federal, state and local policy, housing, incarceration, banking, labor rights, and the environment just "disappear." :gucci:
You understand that right? Just like slaveowners dying doesn't get rid of the scars of slavery or the conditions it created; segregationists dying doesn't end de facto economic segregation, and vicious expropriators and looters dying doesn't end expropriation and looting? :gucci:

And why are you anthropomorphizing "society?"

Lightfoot is incompetent. Schools show no risk of widespread community transmission. All health experts including faucci have said this. Of course teachers who have health risk should remain at home until they get vaccinated. But something has to change. We got 10 year olds pulling guns on people. I don’t want it to get some early 90s shyt where people are begging for Giulianis and crime bills
I don't disagree about Lightfoot. But the gun violence of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s pretty much puts to bed any notion that she's the cause of the violence, or that's exacerbated it in any meaningful way. Schools have a "low risk" in the experiments that were shown - but for the most part, these were not real-world conditions - it was wealthy suburban school districts with cohorts of 11-20 kids, incredibly low student to teacher ratios, and low rates of public transportation use. Its an entirely different thing when you have a huge chunk of at-risk students travelling to neighborhood schools and across town to magnet and charter schools, 20-40 per classroom, with high student to teacher ratios, largely walking or taking public transportation, a huge chunk of which live with at-risk family members, with "essential worker" parents.

And I agree with your last point - but if the state and federal governments are going to seriously invest in educational and recreational alternatives for students, better housing options, mental health services, and legitimate gang deterrent programs - or even look into geographic redesign robust job programs - nothing will change.

Don't give me that slaveowner shyt. These nikkas deserve death. I'm done trying to sympathize and empathize with people that refuse to hold themselves and their bad ass kids accountable.

Him and his boys jacked somebody in Hammond then tried another in Lansing. "Oh my baby ain't never hurt nobody" shut up. fukk that kid and fukk his family.

I'm thinking about me, my people and innocent people these hoe ass nikkas try to victimize. We can use racism another day.

I wish people would leave the bold out of arguments unless it's about reparations. The wealth gap exists because there was a 400+ year head start on us being able to create wealth. Not to mention all the sabotage in between. The ONLY way to fix it is via reparations.

well we should all realize thats never gonna happen :francis:

even if they gave us what we deserve it still wouldn't magically fix the problem

I was speaking on bringing the wealth gap into arguments and it being pointless to do so. Without reparations there will always be a wealth gap. We aren't able to work, save and invest enough to "catch up". And just like mentioned, even with reparations there would be issues due to overall financial illiteracy.

I think reparations are possible, but not until we get a unified strategy that aligns with how legislation is produced in America. Like you can't be talking about withholding your vote and reparations in the same breath.
