If these kids - and I'm not talking about Reese himself or whoever else, because maybe and hopefully they're a little smarter and more cautious than that - but if these kids were TWEETING that recklessly, chances are very high that they were also texting, calling, etc. before and directly after the hit. Regardless of the people here who say murders don't get solved in Chicago, that seems accurate, but that's because the individuals have no profile or publicity. I KNOW they do shlt off your text. I've personally seen it go down with people before. They have carte blanche access to those records, don't think they don't.
Yeah, clearly the white (yeah I'm white) cops, DA, etc. don't much care that these children are killing one another. I grew up in a neighborhood in the Bronx full of working class white people (mostly Irish and Italian,) and the position is basically "it's not our fault these savages are killing themselves." So, yeah. BUT, when they're gloating about it on Twitter and one specific case is making waves, they're going to want to set an example. You already know they have a hard-on for rappers as a rule.
Just saying. There is a lot more incentive to deal with this than other cases it would seem. And, it would also seem that this went down sloppy, especially in the aftermath.
