Same here. I've seen shorter topics on people getting murdered by the police.
In The End was big right around 9/11. I'll always associate that song with teh memories I had of teh week and second week after.Can't even listen to "In The End" anymore.

I dunno, the black man in America has been able to sustain through all of the atrocity. I feel a certain way about suicide. Six kids? Come'on shawty.. shyt couldn't have been THAT bad.
they were my favorite rock band as a yout, by far.
they mixed a lot of elements in their music, rock, singing, hardcore, rap, sampling- and they were able to create a unique sound from it, which is extremely hard to do.
the band was awesome and Chester was a large part of tying it all together with his range of his soothing to hardcore voice.
Hybrid Theory and Meteora are classics straight up.
