Chester's voice man.


Like cornell he had such a distinct voice.


He could sing soft and almost angelic,then do gutteral screams that were STILL melodic.

Knowing he was sexually abused and watching the crawling video now

Linkin Park was the PERFECT gateway band to other genres. People that love rock could get a foot in the door into rap and vice versa.

They seemed to appeal to everybody from all walks of life.

that first album run was legendary those singles were MASSIVE.. Im not a true fan but I most definitely had that first album... was hoping it wasnt the lead singer that was my guy and I liked the rapper guy too... I cant imagine how the true fans feel bc this hit me kinda hard too. rip
