It didn't really cross my mind that women would go harder on a rookie than men do. But hating on other women is women's favorite and most natural activity.

Money in the NBA is too much for players to engage in high school type hazing of rookie players.

For all their faults, NBA players realize that the league is a business first and foremost. Letting young players shine is what’s best for business.

These WNBA veterans need to move smarter before decisions are made for them

Ya'll do know that story lines drive ratings right? This is perfect for the WNBA. They better hope more players start hating on Caitlyn because them white folks gonna start supporting the league in droves, just to see certain people lose and "be humbled"

ESPN knows exactly what they are doing.

They air WNBA games. They are trying to use anything to get eyes.

Truthfully i tried watching a WNBA game last week. Turned it off to do some cardio after 30 min…The WNBA is an awful product right now. Slow, minimal skill, and just boring. Airballs and brick after brick just is not compelling at all; which is odd because the college game is significantly better in most aspects.

And Curry still has insane shooting splits. Im just saying she may be good or even great in the future but as far as a lebron tier changing of the guard player like she was touted, Im not seeing it she aint athletic enough :hubie: so unless she becomes legit curry dont see it
It also took Steph 5 seasons and a new head coach to become even close to the Steph that we know now. She's currently getting the scaled down version of the 2019 Finals treatment Curry got when KD went down.

Caitln Clark has got to prove herself to the players :manny:
Right now they see a majorly hyped rookie who is being hearlded as the savior of their league but hasn't earned her stripes in their eyes. She’s got to endure if she wants to earn the respect of the players.
Definitely this

That dont mean chennedy isnt wrong tho, at the same time

Direct their anger and ire at the media though as they were the ones who put her on the pedestal in the first place. Those vets should be well versed in how the media game works.

It's rather corny that they aren't.

And doing anything against Caitlin gives them cheap promo too good or bad. The vets are trying to prove a point I guess

It’s crazy how the cac media are pitying what’s happening to Caitlin yet clamor for this as a part of the yesteryear of the old NBA they used to love.

:mjpls:
Don't even mention how these white fans are more outraged over a foul in a basketball game than they are when it comes to black people actually being killed by police. Even keeping it strictly basketball, the foul on Angel Reese was worse and it didn't make the headlines (nor should it have).

Writing Clark off before she's has an offseason to develop her body/game is really premature/stupid

Here are the rookie stat lines for two players that are consensus top 5 and in the running for goat

13.2p/4.6r/2.6a on 44/37 shooting

17p/4.4r/3.9a on 41/33 shooting

Neither player dominated the league right out of the gate..In took 1-2 offseasons of development.

Clark IMO is already a goat level passer....She would lead the league in asst if her teammates made a higher percentage of their open shots.....I also think Clark's low fg/3 pt% has a lot to do with the heavy frontloaded schedule....11 gms in 20 days.....After tonight's gm Indy will start getting multiple days of rest in between games......I expect CC percentages to go up.
